The Name of the Association. “Gban Development Association”

                Acronym   [GDA]

The Motto: “Gban Mia Kazokakia” [The interpretation and Meaning of the Mah phrase “Gban Mia Kazokakia” is: Gban People, Put your Hearts together, work collectively, Consolidate your efforts and work in unity. Have oneness of purpose, and unite to achieve your goals and aspirations].

The date the Association was established. 2024

The Seal is in a round shape, or in a circular form. There are several circles that make up our seal. In the middle of all the circles, are two hands wrapped together, [hand in hand].  In the Mah language, there is a proverb that says, “One hand does not wash itself properly. You need the two hands to wash each other.” That is the Theme of the Association. We need more than one person to bring Development to our community. We need all the hearts of the people of Gban and we need all the hands of all the people of Gban to foster the development we want in our town. We even need outsiders to join us and help us.  All hands on Deck.

The Circles around the Seal. The rings or circles around the seal symbolize OUR RELATIONSHIP TO GBAN. They are like Wedding rings. The town is our love. The town is where our first love for home begins. Charity Begins at home. Our charity must always be brought back to Gban. At a wedding, the Groom and the Bride exchange Rings with these words:

I give you this ring as a token of my love

and a sign of our marriage
I promise to care for you with love and respect
And will support and comfort you
Through the good times, and the troubled times
With love and patience.

Gban has given us more than one ring as a token of the love it has poured upon us. and we have given Gban more than one ring in token of our love. It is now time to live up to our Commitment, it is time now that we support our Beloved town with development.
